If you had $1000 to spend on an
Android smartphone which would you
buy? An Oppo
N1? A couple of
Xiaomi Mi3, Meizu
MX3,
Gionee Elife E7? Or this Mediatek equipped Changhong abomination?
The
Changhong H1 is possibly the tackiest, most ugly
smartphone I have every seen! I know you all don’t share my views on the
gold-plated monstrosity, but I am fairly confident that you will agree with me when I say it isn’t worth $1000!
Changhong have taken the specification from a regular 2014
Chinese flagship
phone and quadrupled the price! Specifications include a 1.7ghz
octacore processor,
5.5-inch 1080 display, 2GB RAM, 32Gb memory, 13 mega-pixel rear camera, and 3200mAh battery, by no means a bad set up, but hardly worthy of such a price!
There are a few standout features though such as an optional 7000mAh battery and... well... no that’s it!
I imagine that Changhong hope thousands of H1’s will be bought up for the
Chinese New Year and given as gifts, but if anyone is thinking of getting me one I’ll take an
Mi3, Elife E7 and Huawei Honor 3C and use the change to
buy a nice mea!
