DOOGEE have updated their older DG300 and replaced it with an all new model named the DOOGEE DG310 that is available to pre-order at the low price of only $88.88.
Each time I see a piece of DOOGEE news a few things spring to mind. Firstly I am usually quite impressed with the specs and or price of their new phone, and secondly I am always left amazed at how active the company tends to be for such a young brand!
News of the DG310 has got me on both counts. For $88.88 this is a low-cost phone, one of the cheapest Android Kitkat phones I have seen so far. Then there is the availability! Thanks to a partnership with Deal Extreme, the DG310 can be pre-ordered from multiple countries around the world.
We’re not looking at killer hardware on the DG310, but what we do see is a vast improvement over the older DG300. Specs include a quad-core MT6582 chipset, Bluetooth 4.0, 5-inch LG display (854 x 480), and neat gesture controls built-in to the Android 4.4 OS.
A new body measuring 146.6 x 73 x 7.9mm that has enough room for a 2200mAh battery is also part of the package. DOOGEE and Deal Extreme have set up an reservation and features page so you can learn more about the phone.
So a low price and great availability are the main points to take home. Let’s see what the old guns like Zopo, JiaYu, THL etc plan to do to keep up.
