Elephone P9000 was a great success for the chinese manufacturer and reliable sources are putting the sale numbers at over 500.000 pieces sold. That's quite a lot for a smaller fish in the pond and all those units combined can for example form a circle around the city of Paris.

Popularity of the Elephone P9000 is based not just on the hardware, but even that is pretty solid. Midrange Helio P10 processor, 4 GB RAM, 32 GB of storage, 5,5-inch FullHD display, 13 Mpix rear camera, fingeprint sensor and Android 6.0 OS are still usable specs for a midrange model even these days.

But the real benefit comes with the vibrant caring community and plentiful third-party ROMs including Aerom, CM 13 and quite many others.
