Koobee's mystery device could be a 5-inch quad-core phone coming this month

Koobee are taking a leaf out of Xiaomi's advertising book and posting cryptic clues pointing at their next phone, which looks likely to be a 5-inch, MT6589 model.

The mystery phone appears silhouetted on a graphically challenged image complete with a few standout features the new phone will have such as 1080p playback, a 28nm processor and 441ppi.

From those details we can deduce the Koobee phone is going to be yet another MT6589 quad-core phone with 5-inch 1080 display, but what is going to make this phone a better buy then say the Umi X2 or even the Jiayu G4? How about a release date?

According to details released with the image, the new Koobee phone will be unveiled on the 21st of January, and (with luck) go on sale shortly after!
