UMi have gone on to release another spec detail about their upcoming UMi Zero 2 in OnePlus-esque fashion.
The UMi Zero 2 is pegged for a 1st September launch, and with a dual-screen displays (front and back), the phone is set to give Yotaphone (and Siswoo Darkmoon) a run for the money.
UMi announced today via their Facebook page that the UMi Zero 2 will have a 5.2-inch display on the front. The company also revealed that the front will be covered in 2.5D curved glass, which is something which is pretty popular with Chinese OEMs at the moment. The first generation of the phone had a Super AMOLED display, which should be enough reason for one to believe that the Zero 2 will have the same display tech.
There's no word on the screen resolution, but 1920 x 1080p FHD should perhaps be enough for a screen like that. There's also a word going around suggesting it would be a 2K panel, but that would be a bit of an overkill for a company that isn't quite known for its super expensive products.
Details about the rear e-ink display are yet to be made public, so stay tuned for that. We're really liking this new wave of Chinese phones that aren't just trying to imitate other international devices, but are actually making them feel the heat most of the time.
