If you have been smitten with the
ZTE Grand S, but can't justify it's
price tag, then you will be happy to know that a low-cost sibling to the
Grand S has just recieved it's
network license in China.
The
ZTE V987 offers a similar design to the sleek
Grand S, but in a much chunkier body, which helps the
budget 5-inch smartphone tuck away a larger 2500mAh battery.
Like the
ZTE U956, which we have featured over the past
few days, the latest phone boasts a
quad-core Mediatek
MT6589 processor, 1GB RAM, 5-inch
720p display and 8 mega-pixel rear camera!
Prices haven't appeared yet, but these to low-cost
phablets look set to give smaller domestic brands a run for their money!
