The Poco F9 Pro and Poco F9 Ultra both surfaced in the GSMA IMEI database and cleared Singapore's IMDA and Indonesia's SDPPI and TKDN platforms on July 23. The Vivo X500 joined them in Indonesia's SDPPI. All three are now on a clear path toward international launches.

That suggests Poco may be targeting a faster global rollout this time, potentially landing in October rather than November.

The two devices cover different market segments. The Poco F9 Pro — based on the Redmi K100 — carries the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip at a more accessible price point. The Poco F9 Ultra — based on the K100 Pro Max — steps up to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro, targeting buyers who want the latest Qualcomm silicon. Both are confirmed as global releases, but not for India.

Why India Is Excluded

Poco's market strategy in India differs from its broader global approach. In India, the brand sells numbered series phones — the Poco X, M, and C families — rather than the premium F-series flagships. This isn't new. The Poco F8 Ultra never launched in India either. Indian buyers looking for Redmi K100-level hardware will need to look at Xiaomi's own lineup when it eventually reaches the market.

Vivo X500: Global Name Confirmed for the First Time

The Indonesia SDPPI listing of model V2610 as "Vivo X500" is a first. Until now, the global variant had only appeared in IMEI databases without a confirmed marketing name — the Pro Max cleared Indonesia's TKDN platform recently, and now the standard X500 joins it. With both models clearing Indonesian certifications, a Southeast Asian launch alongside the global rollout looks increasingly likely.

Vivo's China debut for the X500 series is expected in September. Based on the X Fold 6's pattern — China in June, global certification in July — a roughly one-month gap between China launch and international availability is the current reasonable estimate.
