Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1

Qualcomm has officially revealed the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC. The chipset supports 200 MP images and boasts a 4 nm process.

Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 turns out to be a weak chip according to benchmarks. It's almost the same as the Snapdragon 778G.

Qualcomm is gearing up to introduce the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus. It will be launched with the 4G version in early June.

Oppo will premiere the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor. The smartphone to first use this chip in the world will be Oppo Reno 8

Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 is coming as a response to the Dimensity 8000/8100. It will arrive alongside the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chip.

According to a fresh report, Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 will come with Cortex-A710 and A510 cores plus an Adreno 662 GPU.
