Fresh leaks from Android Headlines have given a clear look at the Galaxy Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro, and Samsung is not being subtle this time. The new buds are set to launch on February 25 with the Galaxy S26 phones. With this move, Samsung looks ready to press hard against Apple in the busy earbud space.

New look drops the old round case

The leaked images show a clear break from past Buds style. Samsung has moved to a box shape case with flat edges and a clear lid. Inside, the buds sit side by side in a flat line, rather than upright. The front of the case carries the Samsung name, while the top stays see through.
The Buds 4 and Buds 4 Pro share the same case style, though color sets them apart. The Buds 4 use a dark green base with white buds, while the Pro model sticks to a clean black and white look. This mix gives each model its own feel while keeping a shared design.

The buds also show small metal points on the stem side, along with mic holes at the stem base and rear top. These details hint at new touch or press use, though no firm word backs that up yet.

Two models aim at two tastes

Samsung keeps its split plan for this line. The Galaxy Buds 4 drop the soft ear tips, much like base AirPods. This style often suits users who dislike a tight seal. The Buds 4 Pro keep soft tips in many sizes, closer to the AirPods Pro fit.

Leaks hint at new press and hold moves that could trigger live talk help, though this is not yet proven. Power size is also still a guess. Early info points to 42mAh cells for Buds 4 and 57mAh cells for Buds 4 Pro. These numbers may shift before launch.

Price and timing set the stage

Past leaks point to a price of 179 euro (about $212) for Galaxy Buds 4 and 249 euro (about $294) for Buds 4 Pro. That puts them right in line with Apple’s own buds, leaving little room for error.
With the S26 launch set for the same day, Samsung seems keen to keep eyes locked on its full gear set. The design shift alone will spark talk, though real judgment will wait for sound, fit, and daily use once the buds reach hands and ears.
