Anker has
rolled out the Solix C2000 Gen 2 power station in select global markets,
aiming at users who need strong power far from the grid. The price sits at 1499
euros (about $1771), placing it firmly in the high end of the camp power space. The
device focus is clear. With large output and a big built in cell, it is
designed for long trips and heavy use.
Built for big loads far from home
The Solix C2000 Gen 2 comes with a rated output
of 2400W and a peak level that can rise to 4000W. This puts it in range to run heavy
tools, cooking gear, and even some home items while on the road. The unit
weighs 18.9kg, which makes it heavy, though still moveable by one person.
Inside sits a 2048Wh iron based cell pack. For
those who only understand mAh battery capacity, this cell pack is over 170,000
mAh. Anker claims this pack can pass 4000 full cycles and still keep working
well. With daily use, the firm says the unit could last more than ten years.
These claims lean on the long life traits tied to iron cell packs, which tend
to trade weight for long term use.
Fast fill and many ways to charge
One key draw is how fast the unit can refill.
With wall power and solar used at the same time, the pack can reach 80% in
about 45 min. This setup allows a max of 2600W going into the unit. A wall plug
alone can feed it at up to 2300W.
Other charge paths include solar panels up to
800W, fuel based power sets, and car power at 12V. This mix gives users many
ways to keep the unit alive, even when stuck far from towns or camps. The wide
range of charge paths fits long trips where power plans can change fast.
Power for gear and room to grow
On the front, the unit offers two
USB C ports
rated at 140W each. These can charge phones, laptops, cams, and flying cams
with ease. This removes the need for extra bricks and saves space in travel
bags.
Anker also allows users to link an add on pack
that lifts total storage to 4kWh. This makes the unit more fit for long stays
or work tasks that run for hours each day. The add on choice hints that Anker
expects users to grow into higher needs over time.
With
its size, cost, and power range, the Solix C2000 Gen 2 feels built for users
who know why they need this much power, rather than those just testing camp
life.
