tablet CPU's couldn't get any faster after seeing the Nvidia Kal-El in action and seeing their plans for
2014,
Qualcomm come along and blow everyone away with
news of their 2.5Ghz

More details after the jump!
The
next generation Snapdragon will come in speeds of up to 2.5Ghz and multi-cores (single, dual and quad). The Krait as it is now known will offer support for all your regular
tablet needs such as 3G, WIFI, Bluetooth and GPS, as well as some added
features such as support for stereoscopic 3D video / photo (capture and playback), and also boast multi-mode LTE modem integration.
The next breed of Snapdragon is said to be up to 150 percent faster than the current model, with a power consumption drop of up to 65 percent.
Samples will be ready for
OEM by the second half of this year, with 'entertainment' ready versions i.e

2014 before we see the 2.5Ghz version, which is around the same time we should also expect the super
