HTC Flyer Get's UK Pricing

HTC may have taken their time entering the tablet market, but they are set to make up for it now with the impending launch of their first tablet.

The HTC Flyer as the first tablet is known has just got it's official UK pricing, you may want to sit down before hearing the numbers though!

The Flyer will be built with a single-core 1.5GHz processor and equipped with a 7-inch 1024 × 600 pixel touch screen ,1GB RAM, 32GB storage, support for MicroSD cards and will get two cameras. The rear being a 5 mega-pixel unit with the front being a 1.3 mega-pixel unit.

The body and frame design will be aluminum, and the overall weight including the battery is an impressive 415 grams.

So the specification is all good, but what about the price....

£500 without TAX, £600 with TAX!! Which using today's conversion rate comes to a whopping $975!

Thanks for the thought HTC, but I think we will be giving the Flyer a miss at that price!
