Blackberry will have it's Playbook 7 inch
tablet on the market within the next few weeks, and it sounds like they might have a bit of a
surprise up their sleeves.
According to a report over at BGR, Research In Motion (the makers of Blackberry) are considering using a Java emulator on their
next generation tablet so that it's
new Unix based
OS will be fully backward compatible with the current collection of J2me apps. However, the emulator
RIM are rumored to be interested in, Dalvik Virtual Machine, also happens to be the same emulator capable of running Android application on non-Android devices!
