British PM’s plan to block
social media during times of unrest gets two thumbs up from
China!
As Britain faces
fierce social problems, looting and rioting, the government have been left scratching their head on what to do.
Prime Minister David Cameron has suggested the possibility to
censor social networking sites during times of
public unrest, with the hope to avoid organized looting and rioting.
While the idea would need to be thoroughly thought out and implemented properly to avoid a public backlash, China has been quick to support the idea, using Britain’s plan to support its own censoring behavior!
