Google Embarks on China Hiring Spree

Despite recent leading to many top engineers and execs leaving Google’s office have been on a hiring rampage adding more than 2000 staff in the first quarter of the year. Google has lost ground on local search engine Baidu and are hoping the latest recruitment drive will help the company regain its . got in to earlier this year in after they started to redirect users to their Hong Kong based site and accused the Chinese government of cyber attacks on their servers, they still managed to renew their license in the mainland last month keeping them legal, however it does seem they may have lost the rights to host Google maps for the mainland.
