Xiaomi is preparing to bring its Pro flagship phones to global markets, and the first signs of international testing are now appearing online. The global
Xiaomi 18 Pro Max has surfaced on Geekbench AI with Android 17 and 12GB of RAM. The standard
Xiaomi 18 Pro has also appeared in the same database.
This is good news for fans who missed out on the
Xiaomi 17 Pro series last year. Xiaomi has already confirmed plans to bring the new Pro models outside China, but it has yet to announce a global launch date.

What does Geekbench reveal?
The
Xiaomi 18 Pro Max appears under the model number 2611FPNFAG, while the standard Xiaomi 18 Pro carries the number 2609BPN61G.
Both listings show Android 17 and around 12GB of memory. The database identifies Qualcomm's ARMv8 platform, but it does not directly confirm the commercial name of the processor.
Current reports suggest that the Xiaomi 18 Pro will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, while the Pro Max could get the more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. Both chips are expected to use a similar eight-core CPU layout, with the main difference coming from graphics performance.
The AI scores are interesting
The Geekbench AI results give us an early look at how the two phones handle AI tasks. The Xiaomi 18 Pro scored 2,565 in single-precision testing, 3,236 in half precision and 4,667 in quantized testing. The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max on the other hand scored 2,256, 3,556 and 5,092 in the same tests. So, while the standard model did better in one test, the Pro Max came out ahead in the other two.
These are AI benchmark scores, not standard CPU or gaming results. They give us a glimpse of AI performance, but they do not tell us how fast the phones will feel in everyday use.
A global launch is the big story
The Xiaomi 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max stayed exclusive to China, while only the standard Xiaomi 17 reached international markets. Xiaomi appears ready to change that with the new generation.
I think this is the more important development. The Pro Max could give Xiaomi a stronger global flagship option, especially for buyers who want its top hardware without importing a Chinese model.
However, the
Geekbench listings do not confirm when the phones will arrive or whether every hardware detail will match the Chinese versions. We will have to wait for Xiaomi to share the official launch plans.
