Xiaomi Redmi to be offered in pink and yellow?

Two new colour options for the Xiaomi Redmi were posted on Weibo today by CEO Lei Jun, but will they ever be launched?

Xiaomi boss Lei Jun posted images of pink and yellow Xiaomi Redmi phones today asking if fans liked them. The Redmi has been on sale for almost a year now and in that time we have seen also seen a white version f the phone which still hasn’t made it on sale.

The chances of the Xiaomi Redmi being launched in new colours after such a long time seem unlikely, unless Xioami have no intention of releasing a successor to the popular 799 Yuan phone. Xiaomi also recently launched the Xiaomi Redmi Note, a hands on can be read here.
