Any news on when the FAEA F2 phone with 2GB of RAM, 32 GB of ROM and 3000mAh battery (https://www.gizchina.com/2013/06/24/faea-f2-penguin-getting-1-5ghz-mt6589t-processor-upgrade/) will be available and whether you can secure a similar discount? Besides availability, a price for the international version of this variant would also be useful to know.

I guess they’ll be launching it in the future

Are they in anyway connected to Faea? Their site looks like http://www.faea.com.cn/, but the info on the Faea F2 is very confusing

Also on Faeamobile the tab specifications states F1 to carry 1600mah battery, pretty much all other websites claim 2000mah? typo?

    Hi Andi,
Any chance you could confirm with them if the F1 only has WCDMA 2100, with 100% certainty?

Because there are so many phone manufacturers that only mention 2100 in their spec page, but actually also support 850 or 900.

Waiting for F2. Hope to see video review here from Andi :).
    $239.99 – $20 (GizChina discount) + ($10 for tracking number) for 2G/32G is a great deal.
    Disappointed in Neo …

Too bad it’s 1g and especially only 4g rom for the f2. I get the feeling the price difference between the f1 and f2 is too big for some reason…

So Andi, you confirm 1 GB RAM and 4 GB ROM? I’m really disappointed with FAEA about it… the flagship smartphone cannot hav the same amount of data of F1…

Faea changed the f2’s spec, now I am disappointed, not the MTK6589T and 3000 mah battery. Now I am thinking to get Neo N003

Real difference between FAEA and other similar phones are NFC and OTG. If you are not interested to that, don’t wait for FAEA or you’ll risk to have your new smartphone after easter πŸ˜‰

Neo is having HDMI and OTG, no NFC. But as per my information 1080p screens work better with MTK6589T cpu. So phone with MTK6589T is better than laggy phone with NFC. And also Neo is having 3000 mah battery. Waiting for the reviews for the decision. πŸ™‚

Faea F1 price was 160$ since yesterday. Now it is 169.99$, so the real value of the coupon is only 10$.

    Chinese marketing policy….

    http://www.faeamobile.com/faea-f2.html

    The Specification says “processor – qualcomm snapdragon s4 8225q processor”, network band- gsm 900/1800/1900 mhz & 3g wcdma 2100 mhz, back camera-8.0 mega pixel, front camera-yes, 2mp, screen size- 4.3 – <5.0 inch, display resolution-1280 * 720 pixels,battery standard battery, 1600mah.

Wondering which specification to follow while considering the phone as one of the probable one for purchase? Really confused.

Wondering just want to push the product with such error on sales page? Hope this doesn't happen with the actual product.

This phone have dual sim slot? Or only one, because this is the international version.

Today specs changed: here you are 850 MHz frequency:
      http://www.faeamobile.com/faea-f2-techspec
They also changed battery capacity to 2300mAh and front camera resolution from 4.9 to 5.0 Mpixel πŸ™‚

other news: original site http://www.faea.com.cn/product/f2/f2param/ reports both 1+4 GB version and 2+32 GB version.
international site reports (just on main features page http://www.faeamobile.com/faea-f2-features) 1.5 GHz MTK6589 (turbo). But now it sells F2 at 9 dollar more, defining it “international version” (http://www.faeamobile.com/)

    @AdrianoARG: it’s quite probable F2 supports 850MHz band… I don’t know where you found different infos.

    • Demetrio
      June 26, 2013

… ooops, sorry. Chinese version reports 900 MHz band instead of 850MHz… but let’s wait until the product is available, because we are watching continuous changes in web pages.

        June 27, 2013

Demetrio, do you know to tell me if this faea f1 internacional version have dual simcard slot, or only one? Thanks!

Another new: 2GB + 32GB version will be released in August !!!

    • Demetrio
      June 28, 2013

From the chinese forum (I hope I correctly understood google translation) it seems that:
      1) MTK6589T Turbo version, equiped with 2+32GB of memory, is delayed because the chip isn’t still on mass production, they got just some sample.
      2) the rear camera has got a too much curved lens, it was signaled by testers, therefore they have to change it on every terminal even if it was ready to sell.

Ehi Andy, what about obtaining a discount when the “biggest” version is ready to launch? πŸ˜‰

My trusted Nokia finally died on me. It only works plugged into the juice. Not really a mobile that way.

I really want the Neo N003. Had it pre ordered, but that got delayed.

after checking the reviews here… I ordered myself the F1 as ‘inbetween’ snack. Let’s see how long it takes until it arrives here.

Just freakin wish it was so much easier ordering from abroad as it’s within China.

We know in august will be released an “elite” version with MTK6589T CPU and 2GB RAM+ 32GB ROM

Faea F2 really looks like HTC Butterfly. But I love that is it thinner and of course, lighter. I did some “phone scouting” and I find it cheaper at merimobiles.com..I have yet to order from them so I’m really excited when I be able to road-test this baby. Let’s keep our fingers crossed! πŸ™‚
