OnePlus’s Never Settle philosophy has gained the young company a reputation among fans for not pulling any punches. There latest rival bashing campaign is perfect proof of this!

We’ve all seen the comparisons of the Samsung Galaxy S5 with a Band-Aid, made jokes about Windows phones having no apps and no one is very impressed by the high price of HTC phones, but how often do you see a rival company puling punches like these?

Can OnePlus Keep Their Promise?

This latest campaign goes together with OnePlus’s NeverSettle philosophy, but can this young phone maker really make waves, and more importantly will their flagship OnePlus One phone meed fans high expectations?

Pete Lau, the founder of OnePlus, has already stated the OnePlus One will cost no more than $400, unlocked and off contract, but is this possible while keeping hardware specifications to a ‘No compromise’ level?

Later today we should learn which processor OnePlus have chosen for their phone, only then will we have a better idea of what the latest Chinese phone maker has to offer.

Hmmm… I’m not feeling it. 5″ 1080p screen, Snapdragon 800, these are 2013 specs… it feels exactly like settling.

I am starting to wonder if people are starting to go a little crazy. People moan because this phone will have a Snapdragon 800 when nothing in the Play Store really pushes this chip. Every year manufactures are playing bump up the Specs. what I would really like to see is some proper applications and good features that really take advantage of the chip. Yes a 2k screen is really nice but to be honest are people really seeing blur on 441 ppi phone. For me is a waste of time pouring over bench marks its about how a phone handles every day use and having many applications at a time open. having the best Chip in the world is becoming like having an amazing sports car but having to drive it at 40mph. Where are the applications that really drive these chips?
