International Huawei Ascend P6 owners received some bad news today as their promised Android 4.4 Kitkat update has been pushed back to June!
Originally promised for launch in January and then later for a May launch, Huawei forums in China are now pointing at a June release for the “overseas” version of Emotion UI based on Android 4.4 Kitkat.

The Huawei Ascend P6 has been a solid seller for the Chinese electronics giant, so it is a fair bet that there will be a large number of P6 owners disappointed by the news. To add insult to injury a June release for Kitkat on the P6 would coincide with Google IO where the next version of Android is believed to be announced!
