Smartphone resellers are flexing their buying muscle and already we are beginning to see some great deals on the latest Zopo ZP999, LTE smartphone.

The Zopo ZP999 officially went on sale through Zopo’s online store earlier this month, but already better deals are hitting the web. The best we have seen so far is this from Geekbuying, who are offering the MT6595 phone with a free smart bracelet, remote control, klick plug, screen protector and free shipping for only $399.99.

Gizchina News of the week

Zopo’s flagship ZP999 Pro, aka Lion Heart, is the second octacore MT6595 phone to go on sale behind the Meizu MX4. Zopo’s phone has 32GB of internal memory, 3GB RAM, dual SIM support and room for a micro SD card.

Only $399 ? Are you kidding , this is f… expensive for a Zopo. I don’t even consider Zopo on the same level as Jiayu and this is Meizu level pricing.
A few trinkets won’t make it a great deal either, sorry. If Pandawill is selling this at $400 with a $100 coupon then yes, that’s a bit better but at $400 it’s just a joke and not even a good one. Coupon mean you have to get something else so it’s not perfect.
This phone should sell for $300 from the start and I bet it will in a few weeks.

If you follow the link to Geekbuying above there are 2 phones on offer the Pro version 3GB Mem 32GB storage for $399 and the standard zp999 2GB men & 16BG storage without extra’s for $299. Looks like the standard version will be a similar price to the Jiayu S3. I’ll wait for firm prices on the S3 before making a decision.

Standard version use 720p, might as well buy the “old” ZP998 for cheaper and better screen.

What I’m really missing in this article is the most important question there is. How come geekbuying is saying the delivery date will be 7 November while zopo official store says 20 November… Is geekbuy lying to get more sales?? Or… Can you get an official response from them about this?

I have Zopo ZP990+ octacore, 2Gb ram but 4.2.2 no kitkat. It is not serious Zopo because they send other phone with less hardware in kitkat but nothing new for ZP990+.

i always avoid phone manufacturers that never update their roms. And Mediatek still dident release their source code for custom roms or kernals. Thats the biggest drawback of Mediatek because i like to root underclock undervolt or overclock my phone.
