Machine gun speed is nothing compared to the Elephone’s model announcement frenzy. Feels like a week cannot pass without the HongKong based manufacturer throwing out another model to the wolves, It’s starting to border with obsession and madness, but nonetheless welcome the newest sheep in the fold – Elephone R9.
So what do we know about the new guy ? Elephone R9 should be actually pretty stacked one with 5,5-inch FullHD display, bezel-less design, deca-core Helio X20, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB of storage and Android 6.0.

Interested about the cameras ? Wll here you go, rear camera will be 16 Mpix shooter and front one 8 Mpix shooter. And this time the fingeprint scanner should be integrated into the Home button and not on the back as usual. Release date, price and rest of specs uknown and to be honest we are slightly and slowly getting lost in the Elephone model’s swamp.

Elephone, trying even less now than before
Having Elephone announce a new phone every couple weeks is one thing, having them actually getting them to market and not bug riddled is another. Elephone promise to come out with phones that work in North America and still no sign of that happening. Of all the phones I read about online Elephones are the most problem prone of any phones on the market today. It would be a miracle if the ever keep their word.

I was wondering how they can release so many new model in weeks only.
I am not running a factory, but i think normal production cycle will be something like :
Research & Development –> manufacturing & advertising –> product Release announcement –> Start taking order –> shipping –> Support
But special for Elephoney, somehow they manage to do much shorter production cycle :
Nil –> advertising –> product Release announcement –> Start taking order –> Nil
So be careful , be very careful if you order from Elephoney.

They don’t release them. That’s the secret. They just announce and announce to get attention on this and other sites, but the actual phone either never comes or it comes watered down.

I’m 100% sure that this phone will be crap and will never get Updates, just like all Elephone products… Save for money for something else or buy Elecrap and cry… =)
