Android is ‘winning in China’ but with with the official Android market only working part of the time and over 70 Chinese markets to choose from it increasingly difficult to get hold of the truly great apps!

This is where new application discovery tool Qiuqiu is hoping to make its mark by making application interesting and fun again!

Qiuqiu uses your current location, the time of day and even take in to account what you enjoy doing, to help you find the best applications available for your Android device.

Gizchina News of the week

Qiuqiu is being developed by AppChina, one of the most successful Android app markets in China, which was founded by experienced engineers, university graduates and former MySpace China CEO Luo Chuan.

The idea of Qiuqiu is fantastic and if it works as we imagine and hope it does the system could offer users the perfect application for the perfect situations for example a camera app while at a scenic area during sunset, or maps while in a new city.

The possibilities of Qiuqiu are so exciting I might even have to dust off my much neglected Meizu M9 to try it out.
