Breaking! JiaYu G3 Network License Approval Expected Today!

Great news (hopefully!) it is looking very likely that the Jiayu g3 network license you have been waiting for will finally be awarded today so they can officially launch and sell the JiaYu G3 Android phone!

Jiayu g3 network license approval coming today?

JiaYu have announced that they expect to get their much-needed and long overdue network license today!

Finally after months of waiting loyal fans and expectant customers may actually be able to get their hands on JiaYu’s 4.5 inch HD phone.

Gizchina News of the week

And if news couldn’t get any better it does! As JiaYu have also announced that they have 5000 G3’s ready to ship once they receive all their necessary paperwork.

However, (you didn’t think we would get away that easily did you) for some unknown reason JiaYu have only made 5000 units although there are easily a lot more pre-orders meaning we are still in for a wait.

That said if you ordered a black JiaYu G3 you might have slightly more chance of getting the phone sooner rather than later as JiaYu (in all their wisdom) decided only to manufacture black phones!

More details as they arrive!

What if they did not get the license and had 20.000 units stock? 😛 Probably a good reason not to produce more then 5.000 😉

        September 28, 2012

how many pre-orders do you think they have waiting? 😉

          September 28, 2012

True that. But what if they did not get a new licence? Then they had to bring them to the dumpsite.

(I think they also did this to skip that risk.

do they have confirm the 3G frequencies of that phone ?

some says 2100 mhz only other like your lighttake site says 850/900/1900/2100MHz

    it’s really confusing

  10. September 28, 2012

    Great new!
I hope the G3 come true and not be other vaporware!

Nice the comment layout ic changed and improved. Good work Andi.

On topic: Hmm I don’t know how this news is making me feel any different now. Probably it’s the extensive waiting time that’s caused me to not jump about whenever there is “good” G3 news. 🙂

Please confirm that is the end of the G3 wcdma network, some pages say the 4 frequencies and another only 2100. I need 850 and 1900.

Official site for Jiayu G3 http://ejiayu.com/Product-18.html (use translate.google.com) says 3G frequency 2100Mhz only. So I guess we should belive that info.

They say the same now at the productlink for the G2.
And I have one and it was quadband.
I think the 3G-simslot for the G3 is quadband too.

I don’t understand the excitement over a phone that is only 4gb. Its not gonna have space to put more than 3 apps in there or use the mega-slow sd card.

    • raby
      September 30, 2012

what do u mean 3 apps
man i have a galaxy mini and it has far less than 4GB and i have apps more than you can imagine
and i you buy a class 4 or class 2 sd card you will have a good speed
      for a price about 200$ it’s perfect

    • rhs
      September 30, 2012

Who needs more than few hundreds mb of memory? Thats why memory card is used to be.
And they isnt slow, and class 10 cards are cheap too.

    • Juliana
      September 30, 2012

Erm…my zp100 had 4gb too and I had almost 35 apps installed (phone + sd card) working perfectly. And some top phones had only 4gb and didn’t accept micro sd cards..and they´re still top phones. I use 16gb micro sd on mine and I really don’t have problems with speed. So…I really don’t understand you sir…XD

OMG…can’t wait to receive my little JY G3

Jeez Andi…. The license has been received. Must be the biggest news update since a long time about this so long expected phone.

So you must be either out in the country or just too sick in bed. Otherwise I don’t understand why you wouldn’t write about it! ;-))
