LG 5.5-inch 1080p Screen Headed for Galaxy Note 3?

We’re already seen one 5.5-inch 1080p phone on show at CES, the Intel equipped Lenovo K900, but it won’t be the only phone with this awesome screen for much longer!

LG are one of the most respected screen makers in the world. There technology is used by Apple, Samsung and in their own excellent TV’s, Android devices, and phones.

At CES LG had a trio of great new displays on show ranging from 5.5-inch, to 12.9-inch. The 5.5-inch display is a 1080p offering and is likely the unit Lenovo use in the K900, but don’t be surprised if the next generation Galaxy Note get’s a similar display.

We can also expect more brands to make use of the new screen, 5.5-inch 1080p Oppo Find 6 anyone? Or how about the new Ascend D3, which Huawei are already hinting at?

Of course, we can also expect LG to have a phone on sale later this year with this mighty display, but as of yet the Korean company haven’t mentioned anything yet.

The other screens which LG had on show are equally impressive and include a 7-inch 1920 x 1200 unit and a larger, possible hybrid tablet, 12.9-inch 2560 x 1700 panel.

I don’t think the next Note has a screen that is smaller than the current one’s 5.55″. It will probably be somewhere between 5.8″-6.3″.
