The run up to the Chinese Spring Festival is proving to be a time manufacturers throw caution to the wind and show off new devices ahead of launch! HTC’s Peter Chou has even been at it, testing the HTC M7’s rear camera on stage.
HTC held an end of year celebration in the run up to the coming Spring Festival this past coming week where their head-honcho brought the new HTC M7 on stage after chants of “HTC! HTC! M7 M7″.

No one managed to get a very detailed look at the 4.7-inch flagship phone, but from what we can tell it looks nothing like the rather bland leaks we have been seeing over the past few weeks. In fact the body appears to be made of alloy separated with a plastic strip along the bottom and top.
Of course this phone could be a disguised unit, but many HTC fans are hoping this is not the case as some are really not impressed with the leaks they have been seeing so far.
