ZTE big wigs have been openly discussing the
price of their ultra-slim flagship
phone, and are now suggesting that the
ZTE Grand S could retail for as low as 3000 Yuan ($480).
In the past we have reported that the
Grand S would cost as much as $771, and even had
photographic proof to back it up, however in a recent
interview with Chinese press ZTE's Executive Vice President, He Shiyou states a much low price.
According to the VP, the 6.9mm
Grand S could be priced at between 3000-3500 Yuan ($480-$561) which places the
phone in the same ballpark as the
Oppo Find 5!
The
ZTE Grand S was unveiled at
CES earlier this year and features a 5-inch 1080p display,
quad-core Snapdragon S4 CPU,
2GB RAM and a
13 mega-pixel rear camera.
