Earlier this week the quad-core Xiaomi M2S 32GB sold in just under a minute and at a lower price, and some would argue a more attractive specification, it’s no surprise the M2A has met a similar fate selling 100,000 phones in just 48 seconds!

Tried for one but failed. Can’t Xiaomi be like Apple and actually have phones people can buy?!

That;s always the case with Xiaomi. Unless you write a script, I bet the chance of purchasing this phone on the official site is small.

But looks like you can buy the 2S on the site now… Tempting.

Did you take the bait and click on the orange button under “M2S 1999”? On the next page, you’ll notice that the button to buy at 1999 is greyed out. Gotcha. Oh, but you can buy the slightly more expensive (2199) China Unicom or China Telecom versions. In the world of Xiaomi marketing, those are available 24/7. Of course for the privilege, you’ll need to sign a contract for mobile service with one or the other. Typical Xiaomi; nothing’s changed.

No way I did that… Damnit. Their loss. Now to decide what to get instead!

I can’t understand how this “100 K” phones can be sold in about 48 Sec, unless someone is buying in thousands..
This sounds too good to be true.

Yawn…typical Xiaomi. All the hype but not enough phones. My last attempt to buy their Mi2 phone in December was a lesson learned. It was a complete waste of time.

Bought a different phone instead and am so happy with it.

International buyers don’t bother with Xiaomi phones. I can guarantee you’ll NEVER get it. Even if you do, you’ll be paying greatly inflated prices from resellers. By the time Xiaomi & the resellers have stock, a new phone would have been released and the cycle begins again. So I wouldn’t even bother wasting my time.

I got my Mi2 just fine. Planning to get the M2A because it’s larger,
