This afternoon Green Orangelaunched the N1 at the Mercedes-Benz Center in Shanghai. No surprise there, but what has come of a bit of a shock is that 3 variants of the Green OrangeN1 were announced with the flagship model sporting a 1080display and 2GB RAM!

Green Orange N1 Super
The top of the range N1 was announced today, but isn’t yet available to buy just yet, but the wait might be worth it! The front camera has also been updated and is a 8 mega-pixel sensor on the Super, the rear is 13MP like the others! The Green OrangeN1 Super will cost 2199 Yuan ($358).
Not content with giving us a choice of 3 great phones, Green Orange are also offering the N1 in a rainbow of colours which give the phone a colourful retro iPhone look. Other great features include 2.95mm screen bezels, LED flash, GPS WiFi and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS.

These phones are more interesting than JiaYu G4 IMO.. And this is probably the first time I have heard about Green Orange.. I love that they put a 720p on the 5 inch 2GB phone.. 1080p is just a waste, and drains the battery like nothing else!
Couldn’t agree with you more. Unfortunately 1080p sounds good and people seem to think it’s better when in fact it’s not.
1080p just uses more power and with the MT6589 GPU it will also be slow. 720p is good enough so that you have a Retina display, I doubt it you can notice anything beyond that.
Well it’s not true that 1080p phone drains a lot of battery and it’s not true that runs slow on MT6589!!! I have iOcean x7, and there is a real difference between 720p! You should try one before!
Yeah, the 1080p mark is still far away from the MT6589. The battery consumption and stability can be a headache to the the users.
Adding to what Marius said about the display, i will say that the iphones had less resolutions but the retina display made the life attractive for them.
So if the screen holds a good screen and panel, its worth noticing that you will hardly observe a great difference in 720p and 1080p unless you have HDRs all around. 😉
Apart from that look at the premium design and sleekness.
If you don’t have any problemn in putting phones in blazer pockets and hanging bags(ladies) its a promising phone indeed. 😉
It depends one your eyes actually , to tell the truth for this matter you have to let your eye guide you not the specs… there are a lot of phone with same spec for camera but when you compare the real images you will know the difference 🙂
i kno , need to know the boby to screen area ratio, yeah man 5’5 inch will be perfecto 😀
