The KooBee H1 has been officially announced with an F2.0 aperture front Sony camera, and premium price tag!
The Halo H1 has been designed to sit in the popular Chinese niche market known as the ‘self timer’ market. These are phones designed with style and front camera features in mind rather than performance the Vivo Y15 and Oppo Ulike are examples of ‘self timer’ phones.
Although the Halo H1 does have a Gorilla Glass display, quad-core processor and 1GB RAM, the main highlights revolve around the 8 mega-pixel front camera. The unit is a new Sony IMX179 with a stacked sensor and F2.0 aperture. To get the best out of the camera the phone’s camera app has had added beautification filters and optimizations added to it.
The magnesium bodied phone also has an 8MP rear camera, dual-SIM (but currently only TD-SCDMA), measures 8.5mm thick but will have a high price premium costing 1799 Yuan ($295).
