More Oppo R1 Teaser images, plus mention of low-light imaging!

The Oppo R1 has shown up again on the official Oppo Forum in China touting it’s ability to capture great low-light images!

The Oppo R1 recently passed through China’s Ministry of Communication where we learned that the phone would come with a 1.2Ghz Quad-core processor, 5-inch QHd display and 1GB RAM. These are hardly the most exciting specs out there, but as usual Oppo have focussed on producing a high-quality entry-level device with better than average cameras!

The stylish design is part of the appeal of the Oppo R1, but the real deal maker is the 8-mega-pixel Sony rear camera, which is claimed to offer better low-light image capture capabilities than the competition! After seeing what the Oppo R819 is capable of we believe the R1 could be one impressive entry-level phone.

Other specidfication highlight include a 7.1mm thin body and CNC steel chassis.

Unfortunately for Ofans outside of China we don’t expect the Oppo R1 to launch outside of China.
