Yesterday we reported that
iOcean planned to
launch the world’s best $130
smartphone, today we get a early peek at the
new phone called the
iOcean X7HD.
From the exterior the
new iOcean X7HD is identical to the current X7. Both feature the same design and both have a 5-inch
display, however a few changes in the hardware department have helped lower the price of the X7HD to the magical 799 Yuan price mark.
First up the 5-inch
display has a lower 1280 x 720 resolution but remains an
OGS unit. The
processor has been replaced with the newer 1.3Ghz
quad-core MT6582 processor which gives the
iOcean X7HD Antutu scores of over 17,000, and there is an option for either a 2000mAh or 3000mAh battery option.
In the
video we also get to see the steel frame the X7HD is manufactured on and get to see some nice measurements including the overall dimensions of 141 x 69 x 8.95mm with a bezel of 3.26mm.
