MIUI V5 update now available for the JiaYu G5

JiaYu’s fantastic stainless steel JiaYu G5 receives an official miui V5 build, available to download now!

JiaYu launched their JiaYu G5 last year with their usual choice of Lewa ROM. Since then a few custom ROMs have emerged for this high-end stainless steel handset, but none so excitant as the latest version of miui V5 for the phone.

Xiaomi’s MIUI ROM is officially available for a number of Chinese and international Android smartphones, and JiaYu’s range of deices are among them.

The current version of MIUI V5, version 4.2.7 is based on Android 4.2 and can either be updated via the OTA updater (if you already have the older version of MIUI on your G5) or by downloading and installing it manually from the official MIUI ROM page.
