Gionee are expanding in to new markets across Asia. Today was the turn of
Vietnam which saw the
launch of the
flagship smartphone.
Many Chinese phone makers are expanding across Asia. Xiaomi started to sell their entry-level Redmi in
Singapore this week,
Oppo have
launched the N1 in Indonesia,
Vietnam and other areas, and now
Gionee have entered
Vietnam.
The
launch of the
elife e7 in
Vietnam finished only moments ago and was a glitzy affair to highlight
Gionee’s new
smartphone. The
elife e7 is a
flagship device by any standards and boats a 5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 800 processor, and 16 mega-pixel main camea.
Gionee will release both the 3G WCDMA and 4G LTE models of the E7 in Vietnam with prices starting from around $430 rising to $480.
