Lenovo patents Google Glass rival

As Google Glass goes on sale around the world, Lenovo quietly filed for a patent for it’s own Glass like device.

Lenovo’s patent is for an “Electronic Device and Sound Capturing Method” which looks a whole lot like a Lenovo version of the Google Glass. The Lenovo Glass will come with built-in audio and video recorder plus a VOD display. This will give the device similar capabilities to the Google version along with a heads up display for notification, and other messages.

No mention of if this will be running Android or other OS, as the patent only confirms that it can be used for recording data rather than acting as a smart wearable.
