The ever increasing Elephone range has grown again to include a OnePlus One clone called the Elephone G5.
Elephone swing from original design to clone every so often, their latest device firmly hitting the clone genre with a swift right hook! Take one look at the Elephone G5 and it is painfully obvious that the phone is a clone of the OnePlus One, broom the recessed bezel, 5.5-inch screen size and even similar black screen gestures as found in ColorOS (the ROM loaded on to the Chinese version of the OPO).
Being as Elephone tend to concentrate of mid-range phones, the Elephone G5 has a Mediatek quad-core MT6582 processor, 1GB RAM and a 1280 x 720p display. They have managed to keep the thickness down to only 7.5mm with a 3020mAh battery, dual SIM and 13 mega-pixel option. As standard Elephone ship the G5 with an Android 4.4.2 based ROM, but users have the option to install MIUI if they want to. It is also nice to see that Elephone have used a Gorilla Glass display on the Elephone G5 too.
