With a 5.5-inch display, LTE and fingerprint scanner, the Bluboo X6 could be a budget Meziu MX4 Pro alternative

Bluboo have leapt at the chance to go 64Bit and slammed the new Mediatek MT6732 processor in their latest Bluboo X6 along with a few more interesting goodies.

Without doubt the Bluboo X6 is the best looking phone we have seen from the small phone maker for sometime. The design of the 5.5-inch smartphone boasts a similar silhouette to the Oppo Find 7 with the sides of the Vivo Xshot, but there is enough originality in the look to make it a unique had set.

The press images seem to show a slight curve to the display, similar to that found on the IUNI U3, we don’t know if this is a feature of the design or just part of the render but the following specs we do know for sure.

Behind the 5.5-inch 720p display we have one of the latest Mediatek 64Bit processors, the MT6732 running at 1.3Ghz. This is a quad-core processor from the Taiwanese chip maker and includes an integrated LTE modem.

Gizchina News of the week

A 2600mAh battery might sound a little on the small side but with the HD display and newer processor this doesn’t worry us too much. Security shouldn’t be a worry either as the X6 packs it’s own fingerprint scanner hidden away in the physical home button (like the Meizu MX4 Pro is rumoured to have).

There is also dual sim support, room for a micro SD card, dual LED flash, 8 mega-pixel front camera and 2 mega-pixel rear. News reports say that the Bluboo X6 will run Android 4.2, however we don’t think this is accurate and believe the phone will ship with Android 4.4 Kitkat and be ripe for an Android L update sometime next year.

With a good looking design, metal frame a decent specs is there anything not to like? Well for some reason the phone has just 1GB RAM, which really doesn’t cut it anymore! Fingers crossed a 2GB version will be on sale too.

Any android device with 64bit chip should be shipped with Lollipop on board, or else it’s just there only for decoration. The side glass remind me to Nexus 4. The render looks good, and if they manage to glow the home button’s border like BB device, it makes it even better.

I’m guessing it was a typo and was supposed to be 2 front and 8 rear.

I wish it had 5 mp front camera. It was looking great until I read 2 mp front camera.
In any regards isn’t the bluboo a phone that is sold in the USA? Therefore will it have LTE that will work on the AT&T network?
