I’m not an expert and I’ve always used an iPhone since they came out (never used android before) but I can say it’s really good smartphone. I think I couldn’t have chosen a better device at this price. I’m running 64g rom.

I bought the 3g model and have never been happier with a phone. For me 4g LTE is just an added cost for a feature I really don’t need. I get speeds upwards of 10mb on bad 3g networks and upwards of 20mb on good networks. That speed is more than enough to do what I need to do and I don’t have LTE sucking my battery.

The funniest part about LTE is how much misinformation there is out there. The speeds that are often quoted are never fully reached. There have been comparisons done in which 3G was actually getting comparable or faster speeds than LTE in some markets. I will give the phone companies credit though they have done an amazing job with marketing LTE to where many people think it is the most important factor when choosing a new phone.
