OnePlus China have posted a teaser which suggests something metal is coming very soon but what could it be?
OnePlus’ China office have posted a teaser today to hint a something metal that will be announced tomorrow. The teaser is simply an image of the table of elements which has some commenters believe a new metal back cover for the OnePlus One might be released.

So far OnePlus have released limited number of the Bamboo style swap cover, and in China also teased a wicker version, could a metal option be next? The only issue we have would be how difficult it would be to install and remove a metal cover on the notoriously tight-fitting OPO. Perhaps what we will see is a protective case or an all together new accessory.
What ever it might be we will post details of it once it is released tomorrow.

It sounds strange why some commenters would merge the elements of the periodic table with the back cover of the OPO, hence other non-metal elements, such as Helium or Oxygen are presented. On the other hand, it may be logical.
Metal styleswap cover would be nice but it could also be an announcement of new OnePlus OS called element OS if they choose that name from the shortlist in contest couple months ago.
Or is it just that OP2 will have a metal frame? Isn’t a metal frame now for OPO too little too late?

they will announce their OS, its called H2 OS (Hydrogen OS)
