Smartphone specifications are up and pricing is way way down for 2015. Here are our top 6 sub $150 Android phone you can buy right now!
Before we get on with the list I just want to point out that these are international prices and where possibly I have linked to the official website for the device or where the phone can be bought at it’s low price.
Top 6 sub $150 Android smartphones
The phones are in price order starting from just $50 and topping out at $149.99.
Elephone G1
Elephone have squeezed three phones in to the list. The Elephone G1 is a $50 phone internationally and features a body not dissimilar from the Nubia Z7 mini.
For $50 you don’t get access to LTE, but it does come with a quad-core MT6582 processor, dual SIM WDMA support, 5 mega-pixel camera and 4.5-inch display. There is space for an SD card slot too. Colour options include black, white, blue or pink.

Ulefone BeX
Ulefone really do continue to impress us with their range of phones and the Ulefone BeX is no different. Costing only $89.99, the Ulefone BeX opts for a previous generation octacore Mediatek processor with 1GB RAM, and qHD display.
These details keep the cost low, but from experience with Ulefone devices the BeX is surely going to be a very well made device, and if it ships with the same ROM as the Be Pro then you will be getting a beautiful stock Android experience.

Elephone G2
Heading slightly further up the price scale is the Elephone G2. The G2 hasn’t officially been launched yet, but will go on sale across Asia and Europe in a few weeks with a price tag of below $100.
The G2 is exciting as it will be the most affordable 64bit smartphone on sale at launch with dual SIM LTE and even a rumour it will ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.

Xiaomi redmi 2?! It is the best together with Elephone P6000
At $151 with coupon code from Gearbest, the Ulefone Be Pro doesn’t technically qualify. But Gearbest shipped it DHL for $6 and I got it within seven days. Prefer Gearbest now to Pandawill, my last Fedex-shipped order from them (Doogee Titans 2) took almost a month. With Fedex at $17 from them; disappointing.
The THL 4000 didn’t make it? You’re kidding.
Got a 5$ antelife cupon if anyone is interested, it’s antelifecoupon5 . Have fun 🙂
Cubot Zorro and P6000 are two of the best smartphones we can buy at this time directly from China. Perhaps due GSM-LTE networks in Europe, Cubot Zorro would work bettern than P6000 in 4G frecuencies. Would it be interesting to have a comparison chart with download/upload times.
