Another month begins and another Chinese phone maker reveals hardware for its flagship Android smartphone. Here are details of the Zeaplus The M7.
There are a few details which strike us about the Zeaplus The M7. Firstly is the name, is it “The M7” or simply “M7”, and does this “M7” have anything to do with the Mlais M7 or Mstar M7?
Then there are the specifications. The M7 comes with a specification which is similar to the many other Chinese flagship phones of the day and includes the popular MT6752 64bit chip, 3GB RAM, fingerprint scanner and 5.5-inch FHD display. Similar to it’s competitors it also comes with a fingerprint scanner, 13 mega-pixel Sony sensor and Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Gizchina News of the week
Over on the Zeaplus forums the company have also confirmed that the phone will support SD cards, dual SIM and LTE bands 1/3/7/20. Oh and the 13 mega-pixel sensor is an IMX135 not an IMX214.
Pricing hasn’t been revealed but a launch of around mid June has been scheduled.
Forum site admin says it’s similar to Elephone P7000.
”Be available at middle of June”
Zeaplus got some mad English skillz
One of my favorite things about living in Asia is seeing some of the funky English translations they use. I was in a big box Walmart type store once and at the top of every register it read “Cashire”.
