New HomTom HT7 update promises longer battery life

Extra affordable budget entry level phone HomTom HT7 is scheduled to receive major firmware upgrade soonish and some listed features of the v2.0.7 are not too shabby.

First of all due to some major optimalizations of power saving methods the 3000 mAh battery should be getting prolonged battery life. The claim of 4 days sounds maybe a  little too optimistic, but any improvement is welcome.

With the new firmware the users will be getting also an overhaul of the integrated security, 8 different customized UI choices and support for additional gesture controls.

Hopefully such welcome changes can make the 60$ phone even more appealing for the potential buyers.

I bought one for my sister (a low user) and the the first powers up, I got an OTA! Not bad looking phone at that time Banggood had them on special for $40. But I bought mine for $60 plus free case and screen protector.

i got one of this HT7. But seems that all of them have touchscreen problems. when using two fingers like doing zoon on a photo, the touchscreen confuses and do erratic things.
