Will be interesting to see what new models they have in the next months. If they push Intel’s Apollo Lake and how that will perform or if they go back to Mediatek, Rockchip and so on..
Intel might quit the cheap tablet market and, if they do that, all these guys that sold out to Intel could fall.

Chuwi, as cheap as it gets
I was disappointed with chuwi hi8 the screen sractched I don’t know how,i found it slow to load,I did not like windows on it so used android,battery life was 2 hours or less,i gave it away quick you can buy amazon fire 7 inch for $40 or 10 inch $179 or 8 inch for $149
I would not buy chuwi again unless it got better and cheaper price and better battery life
Intel made a strategic decision to abandon the tablet and smartphone markets. I wonder what all the Chinese manufacturers will do going forward? Go back to Android making tablets? Rekindle old ties with MediaTek and Rocketchip? Pity, the Chinese were so close to making quality Windows based devices. Now, I doubt if it will ever happen.

Well, they still habe an updated CherryTrail plattform (X5 Z8x50) to play around before Broxton even had become an issue…
But seeing Windows / Dual-Boot go away in the near future makes me sad anyways :-/
They haven’t exited the low end tablet market yet but they are likely to in 1-2 years. Apollo Lake is about to be released, new Atom (they’ll rebrand it though) for PC and Willow Trail is supposed to be the tablet version.Even if Willow Trail got canceled too, they can use Apollo Lake for tabs. After that, would make sense if Atom is phased out.
