OnePlus 3 to have two RAM variants? (Plus info on pricing)

OnePlus’ second outing with the OnePlus 2 may not have been as successful as their first, but the now-well known brand still seems keen on making a dent in the phone industry.

Next in line from OnePlus is the OnePlus 3, expected later this season. It was a bit of a given that it’ll have the Snapdragon 820 SoC even before the leaks. That said, we had no idea it was going to feature 6GB of RAM.

With the OnePlus 2, the company launched two versions of the phone, one with 3GB RAM and the other, higher end, one with 4GB RAM. It seems as though a similar model will be used for the OnePlus 3 as well.

But this is 2016, so there won’t be a 3GB RAM edition because that’s what mid-range phones are doing these days. Instead, OnePlus will reportedly ship the phone in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants. The existence of the latter has already been confirmed.

OnePlus 3 Pricing

Word is that the OnePlus 3 will be cheaper than the OnePlus 2. If you’re here for numbers, 1,999 Yuan is what one variant of the OnePlus 3 should sell for. It isn’t yet known if this is the 4GB or the 6GB variant, but we’d be surprised if it was the latter.

What do you expect from OnePlus this time? I’d dearly love an even better camera (the OnePlus 2 had an amazing one).

Innovation in terms of freshness of design, materials, price, look, build, feel and packaging. Now its just a carry forward tradition.

        Hence, settled.

4gb or 6gb ram, Both are fine. But Either give 128gb variant or a micro sd slot. 64gb is just not enough for me. Hoping Zuk Z2 pro comes to India.

Thanks for this valuable piece of information. I was horrified since i can’t use a phone without capacitive buttons and i had great expectations for OP3.

5.5″ 1080p AMOLED display, S820 with 4GB+ of RAM, 4000mah+ battery, fast charging, metal build, good front/back cameras, 128GB storage, capacitive buttons, good quality front and/or bottom firing speaker, improved OxygenOS, and priced well.

Surely that’s not too much to ask? ?

Besides 128GB, it really isn’t. You never know your wishes might just be answered!
