Rugged Blackview BV6000 official pictures released

Blackview BV6000

Month of May is not just a month of love, but also the month destined for Blackview BV6000 coming to the market. We have already covered the news about it few times so it’s clear we are getting decently equipped rugged phone with it.

Just like every proper rugged tough guy it offers the IP68 certification making it water and dustproof. It also features 4.7-inch HD display with 3rd gen Gorilla Glass protection, octa-core Mediatek Helio P10 (MT6755) processor clocked at 2 GHz, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB of expandable storage and Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Other stuff like metal frame, 4G support on bands 1/3/7/20, dual SIM capability and 4500 mAh batter with 5V2A fast charge support are also not missing.

Main camera will be 13 MPix shooter with f/2.0 aperture while the front one will be 5 MPix capable of covering 85-degree view. More specs to come like NFC, compass, gyroscope, barometer, SOS button, GPS+Glonnas and others. We also have some Blackview BV6000 official pictures to show with some waterproof shenanigans demonstrated.

Gizchina News of the week

In our older articles we have estimated the price for BV6000 being around 200 dollars and that seems to be exactly right, because now you can find in a presale already for 199.99$. For more information it’s of course always recommended to visit the official Blackview website.

Not bad at all. If they had a pro version I would probably go for it.

Yes, I would have preferred a larger screen, even bigger battery and (possibly) better camera but I’m narrowing my final choice down between this and the new Xiaomi Max (Yes, I understand they are quite different).

Question: the little yellow button says “PTT” which I assume is push-to-talk. Does this phone have UHF/VHF radios? Also, devicespecifications.com doesn’t list an electronic compass sensor, can anyone confirm. Thanks!

Don’t think so. It’s also got an S.O.S button. I guess you can configure these extra buttons for personal apps.

if its gonna be same as bv5000 then forget it… screens crack easily and the fact that they again popped screen out form frame means it will be easy to smash it at smallest drop….. why no infrared? Presale price is ridiculous as the phone will be less than 150$ after two months….
