After Europe, the Honor 8 with its dual rear camera setup is headed for Malaysian markets.

Honor Malaysia revealed earlier today that the phone would be launched in the country on 6th September, which is less than two weeks away from now. The Honor 8 is a close cousin of the current Huawei flagship, the Huawei P9.

Gizchina News of the week

No word on how much the Honor 8 will cost in Malaysia, but you can expect it to be in the range of how much it costs in other markets. The Honor 8 has a 5.2-inch 1080p display, Kirin 950 processor, 3/4GB RAM, 32/64GB storage, dual 12 mega-pixel rear cameras, and a 3000mAh battery.

In China, the phone costs 1,999 yuan (3GB/32GB; 1210 RM) and goes all the way up to 2,499 yuan (4GB/64GB; 1500 RM)… that should give you an idea about how much your wallet will be lighter after getting one.

I saw the comparison for the dual cam setup on you tube. Apparently Huawei has the best compared to Xiaomi and etc. If only they don’t use a kirin 950 though..

The. Longer Huawei delays launch of this fone, smaller will grow the desire of people for this because the USP of Dual cams is getting diluted by incoming rivals like Xiaomi, Eco 1, etc. Huawei is very tardy.
