Asus have had two trips to TENAA this week. Earlier we had the big screen ultra and now the smaller Zenfone 3.
This version of the Zenfone 3 actually features many of the same features of the large Zenfone 3 Ultra only in a smaller 5.5-inch package. Like the large phone the device get’s a FHD 1920 x 1080 display, along with a Snapdragon 625 chipset and 4GB RAM.
With its smaller screen, Asus have took it on themselves to give the Zenfone 3 a smaller 2900mAh battery. This does seem a little odd to us as most similar phone have been getting 3000+ batteries, but perhaps Asus know something we don’t.
Other hardware features include options for storage (32-64), Sony MIX298 16 mega-pixel main camera with F2.0 aperture, 8 mega-pixel front camera and USB Type C.
While the Zenfone 3 might not have the all out grunt of a Snapdragon 820 phone, the pricing is expected to be way more affordable than those phones, with Chinese media expecting an RRP of 1600 Yuan.
