Unfortunately this phone is all bling and no substance with poor cameras and no image stabilisation. Call quality is also supposed to be poor, hopefully in a year or 2 with more companies investing in pushing the boundaries we should start seeing these problems ironed out.

Yeah man, completely agree. When it first released i was obviously impressed by the screen etc. But after seeing the reviews, the price is completely delusional considering the weak cameras and other issues. Xiaomi really need to focus on cameras, they are just not competitive with the best in the industry especially when they are trying to charge this much for devices.

I read some Mi Note 2 reviews and to my surprise, the camera performs much better there. So, what’s Xiaomi’s problem exactly, to keep stuffing better cameras in their other devices? No clue…

Well it has optical image stabilisation for starters. I think Xiaomi have concentrated more on the looks rather than the hardware, at 6.4″ it really should have a 2k display especially at its price point.

Wow, they “slashed” the price to $190 over list. Is it Black Friday again?
