We already know that the
MGCOOL Explorer 2 will come in a shiny
orange color variant and we thought that was it. It appears that we were wrong, MGCOOL are actually going to release a black version as well; let's have a look!
As we can see in the photo above, the Explorer 2 will be totally black, exception made for the power button. This coloration gives the camera a somewhat more professional look, also the outer protection which appears to be made of rubber should make it pretty rugged.
The black MGCOOL Explorer 2, just like the orange one, will be able to shoot
4K videos at 30fps with H.265 encoding, it features a 2-inch display on the back (resolution, unknown) and a GPS module that can track where you've taken photos and videos, allowing you to place every photo on the map.
The MGCOOL Explorer 2 will hopefully be a cheaper GoPro Hero5 and Yi 4K+ given the 4K @30fps video recording capability, that is if the price will be super competitive, obviously.
Sadly, there are still no info about its possible price, so all we can do is wait for the official launch.
On a side note, MGCOOL are currently running a giveaway on Facebook, you can win an MGCOOL Exporer or Band 2, click
