Elephone S7 might be finally getting Android 7.1.1 Nougat!

Yes, if you were waiting for the Android 7.0 Nougat build for your Elephone S7 you can finally stop stressing out. The latest stable firmware from Google is finally getting on your device, a video released by Elephone confirms it. Let’s have a look!

As you can see, the phone is running Android 7.1.1 Nougat, but don’t get too excited as it is still in beta build. Elephone engineers are currently testing it and optimizing it further before releasing it to the public.

Elephone goes as far as saying that you might be able to update to the newer OS even through OTA, that would be a big step in the right direction for the Chinese company, if confirmed

Obviously, with Android 7.1 you’re getting some new features over the older Android 6.0 ROM, such as:

      More like, Elephone actually released a phone? I thought it was a company that made renders only..

    If Elephone actually started doing updates on phones its great news for us consumers. I don’t believe it until i see an actual release tho.
